On Friday, 25 November 2022, Safa Urja signed a solid waste management agreement with Khairahani Municipality. The agreement was signed in the presence of the Mayor, the Chief Administrative Officer, the municipality’s Environment and Disaster Coordinator, ward chairs and members of the Safa Urja team.
The agreement marked the start of our partnership with Khairahani: bringing organised collection, separation and recovery of waste to the municipality, so that more of what is collected is turned into organic fertiliser and recycled products instead of being dumped.
We thank the Mayor, the municipal leadership and the ward chairs for their trust and support.
