Saura Plast HDPE wiring pipes, made by Safa Urja, are electrical conduit pipes for house and building wiring, made in Nepal from recovered plastic. The plastic is sorted at our Material Recovery Facility, shredded, washed clean and dried before it is made into pipe, so every coil keeps plastic out of rivers and fields and gives it a useful second life.
Where to use them
- Concealed and surface electrical wiring in houses, shops and offices
- Protecting cables in walls, floors and ceilings
- Building and renovation projects
Why choose our pipes
- Strong and flexible: the pipe bends around corners without cracking
- Quality-checked: pipes are bent, flexed and struck with a hammer to make sure they do not crack, and the shopkeepers who stock them test them the same way
- Easy to identify: black pipe with a yellow stripe, printed “Made in Nepal”
- Made in Nepal from recovered plastic: local supply and a smaller footprint
Supply
Supplied in strapped coils. Dealers, hardware shops, electricians and contractors are welcome to ask about sizes, coil lengths and bulk prices: write to sales@safaurja.com or use the enquiry form below.

Pipe coil calculator
Work out the length or weight of an HDPE pipe coil, using the standard engineering formula.
The wall cannot be thicker than half the diameter.
How is it calculated?
Inside diameter: d = D − 2t
Cross-section area: A = π/4 × (D² − d²) mm²
Weight per metre: w = A × ρ g/m (1 mm² × 1 m = 1 cm³)
Coil length: L = W ÷ w · Coil weight: W = L × w
Assumes a uniform, solid-wall round pipe and excludes packaging. Real weights vary slightly with manufacturing tolerances.
