For Christmas 2025, Safa Urja set up Christmas trees made from recovered plastic bottles at Sauraha Dam side. The trees were on display over Christmas and were lit up in the evenings of 24 and 25 December, when visitors, families and children came to see them and take photos with Santa.
The message was simple: plastic bottles are a resource that can be given a second life, not rubbish to throw away.
